Post Proms Patron Party
Patrons and performers celebrated the penultimate night of the ‘world’s greatest classical music festival’ at the Ognisko restaurant in the Polish Club.
Glyndebourne Summer Party
Our annual Summer Party, held in the stunning Old Green Room overlooking Glyndebourne’s picturesque grounds, welcomed Patrons giving at Chair/Aria Membership or above. This year, the party buzzed with excitement celebrating the arrival of Giulio Cesare, which has since garnered rave 5* reviews.
Aldeburgh Patrons' Trip
OAE Patrons joined the players and staff on tour to Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings. The itinerary offered a unique blend of musical discovery and local exploration.
Patrons enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of The Red House, Benjamin Britten’s final residence, gaining insights into the life of this iconic composer and delving into the rich archive of his music; a tour of Fishers Gin distillery, allowing Patrons to discover the local flora that contributes to the spirit; followed by dinner at Aldeburgh’s newest culinary gem, The Suffolk. To cap off the experience, Patrons were treated to an open rehearsal followed by a captivating OAE concert featuring the renowned pianist Sir András Schiff.
Friends' Trip to Handel Hendrix House
OAE Friends and Patrons delved into Handel’s London life and his fascinating connection to Jimi Hendrix during a private tour of the newly reopened Handel Hendrix House.
2024/25 Season Launch
This annual event for Patrons provides unveils the upcoming season. CEO Crispin Woodhead provides a illuminating insight into the programming for the coming year, interspersed with captivating performances by featured artists from the new season.
This year’s Season Launch was held at St Martin in the Fields with special guests, renowned composer Roxanna Panufnik, OAE Rising Star and bass-baritone, Florian Störtz, and virtuosic keyboard player, Satoko Doi-Luck.
