Introducing Tea with Netty: Behind the Scenes at Glyndebourne 28 August 2019

Tea with Netty is our new podcast hosted by viola player Annette Isserlis (Netty). Over a cuppa (or something a little stronger…), Netty chats with a variety of conductors, players and other guests as she ‘spills the tea’ on the side of classical music you don’t normally hear.

Netty kicks off our new podcast with OAE players Martin Kelly and Julia Kuhn before they rehearse at the summer opera festival, Glyndebourne.

We get to hear two different perspectives on OAE pit-life at Glyndebourne. Martin, viola and opera buff, recalls the early days of the OAE’s residency while newer member Julia, violin, talks about her highlights so far.
