Messiah at Holmen’s Kirke

The OAE’s performances of Messiah with the Mogens Dahl Chamber Choir have become a highlight of Christmas in the Danish capital. The international collaboration has created a version of the work that offers audience an experience that is at once modern and authentic.

Founded by Danish conductor Mogens Dahl, the Mogens Dahl Chamber Choir is a unique international choir project, which breaks with the usual, both artistically and organisationally. It strives to create a flexible ensemble from a pool of 40 young singers that has caused quite a stir with its innovative concert, festival and CD projects.
