Haydn First and Last in Ankara

Trace Haydn’s passage from young trailblazer to the greatest composer in the world with symphonies from the beginning, middle and end of his career.

Tonight’s concert presents a panoramic view of Haydn’s music and takes the breath away with its elegance and beauty. The music features his first and last symphonies (Nos. 1 & 104) as well as Symphony No. 51, the popular Sinfonia Concertante and The Representation of Chaos from The Creation.
