Join Polyphony’s “radiant young voices” and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment’s “zestful strings” and “keen trumpets” with a brilliant line-up of soloists, all under the inspired direction of Stephen Layton and you will be singing and dancing all the way home.
James Gilchrist will “Comfort Ye” – Mary Bevan will enchant you with her rendition of “Rejoice greatly” – you will be moved by Helen Charlston’s “He was despised” – and thrilled by the brilliance of Neal Davies and the Orchestra’s players in “The trumpet shall sound”.
