We begin the new year with a selection of pieces from Beethoven’s much-loved Fidelio, followed by Brahms’ Violin Concerto with multi-award winning violinist Alina Ibragimova. The Brahms concerto is a landmark in the shift towards romanticism, breaking the bonds of convention and taking flight. This event was pre-recorded at Glyndebourne in December 2020.
